Ann Rinaldis novel, The Secret of Sarah Revere, is a great illustration of what life would be like for one of Paul Reveres children. This book does a fantastic job at each persons character development, and goes into great detail of Sarahs daily dramas/5.

The Secret of Sarah Revere by Ann Rinaldi is about the Revolutionary War, Paul Revere, and his family. This book is a historical fiction for middle school and low high school level. Rinaldi wrote it from Sarah Revere's point of view.

As I said before it is a historical fiction and it 4/5(24). The Secret of Sarah Revere, is a must read. This book is for anyone who likes historical fiction with added suspense. While some of the dialog is a bit tricky to grasp, the way that the author portrays Sarah, the daughter of Paul Revere, is outstanding.

5/5(5). Paul Revere gallops around the countryside on secret missions as his thirteen-year-old daughter, Sarah, tries to make sense of life and the American Revolution. Sarah adores family friend Dr. Joseph Warren but fears that he and her stepmother may be in love. Meanwhile, danger looms for all as the Revolution begins.3/5.

The book "The Secret of Sarah Revere" took place during the American Revolution in Boston, Watertown in Sarah lives in a very small, but crowded house with her grandmother, her stepmother, her dad and her 5 siblings She lived during the period of the Boston Tea Dumping, when the Indians dumped all the tea into the caused great chaos in Boston.

Sarahs grandmother told Sarah and her sisters that is was there fault that there mother died because they didn't know how to behave. Her dad was sad until Rachel came, Paul Revere and Rachel got married.

Rising Action-The British government decided to ship the tea to Boston to save the company from bankrupt. About 24 men were choosen to wait. Thirteen-year-old Sarah Revere knows her father is a hero. But she also knows that Paul Revere guards a secret about the start of the Revolutionary War that he'll tell no one--not his new wife, not his best friend, not even his trusted daughter.

It seems everyone in her family has Brand: Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. This book is very exciting and by telling the story in first person, the author really keeps things interesting.

The reader knows all of Sarah's thoughts and feelings, and at the end of the book they feel as though they have made a great new friend. I finished up reading the book The Secret of Sarah Revere by Ann Rinaldi. I am a huge fan of the author. HUGE. I’ve read most of her books. She is actually a young adult historical fiction writer. Many of her books focus on the time period of the Revolutionary War or the Civil War both time periods I.
